This project is about creating a clothing project called Monoloom, a fashion brand from Ghaziabad, India. Monoloom specializes in trendy streetwear and casual wear at affordable prices. I aim to design a cool clothing brand using high-quality fabrics to create clothes that look great every day. By doing so, I hope to convey the message that Monoloom is here to make stylish fashion accessible to everyone.

(MY APPROACH)

I discovered that Brutalist design's bold and impactful visuals can resonate with the increasing self-assurance and awareness of young Indian consumers. This aesthetic conveys a strong and independent brand voice that aligns perfectly with Monoloom's brand spirit.

The goal of this branding project is to enhance brand recognition and recall through consistent visuals and memorable experiences. To achieve this, we will revitalize the brand's visual identity.

Overcoming Challenges

To stand out from competitors, I propose using a brutalist design aesthetic. Its bold and impactful visuals can resonate with the growing awareness and confidence of young Indian consumers. This design approach conveys a strong, independent brand voice. The raw and unpolished nature of brutalist design complements the brand's streetwear aesthetic, reinforcing the ideas of individuality and self-expression often associated with street style.
